Chansons de Nadja Bernadette
Designs developed and produced for artist Anna Mae of Lucerne, Switzerland
Singer-songwriter Anna Mae wanted to work together in a close collaboration. She had numerous musical works in mind for an EP of French “Chansons.” We discussed the music and her vision for the EP and, importantly, listened carefully to the music and lyrics. After numerous discovery sessions together, the visual of a Magnolia flower emerged as an appropriate and beautiful symbol representing her songs. We were pleased to learn that Magnolia is deeply rooted in French history. This floral moniker was bestowed upon plants in honor of the French botanist Pierre Magnol, who played a significant role in botany during the 17th and 18th centuries.
